The Energy Huntsville Initiative held its annual Energy Summit recently from October 16 -18. I am pleased to have been a co-host of the event along with the Society of American Military Engineers.

The objectives of this annual summit were:

  1. To bring together government and private sector energy-focused leaders so they can share with the summit’s attendees what is hot and moving in the energy sector
  2. To enable government leaders to share their needs and present the real contract opportunities that are upcoming in 2018.
  3. To enable private-sector leaders to share their small business subcontracting strategy and their upcoming opportunities

By providing relevant information coupled with extensive networking opportunities, this year’s summit opened significant teaming opportunities for the attendees and laid the groundwork for rewarding future events. Hope to see you there next year!
